Purpose of Underground River Tap Water Filter


King Machine’s Complete Underground River Tap Water Filter Equipment is designed to treat underground river water into clean, safe tap water for residential, commercial, or small-scale industrial use. Unlike bottled water systems, this equipment focuses on continuous, low-cost water purification—ideal for communities, schools, hotels, or factories that draw water from underground rivers but need to meet tap water quality standards (e.g., China’s GB 5749-2022 or EPA standards in the US). It uses reverse osmosis (RO) as the core technology, combined with multi-stage filtration, to remove impurities, odors, and harmful substances.


Four-Stage Filtration Process for Purity


First Stage: Silica Sand Filtration

• This stage uses multi-medium quartz sand to filter out large particles such as sediment, manganese, rust, and mechanical impurities. It targets particles larger than 20μm, reducing water turbidity and preventing clogging in subsequent filters.

• The filter supports automatic backwashing—when pressure difference reaches a set value, the system flushes the sand bed with clean water, restoring filtration efficiency without manual cleaning.


Second Stage: Activated Carbon Filtration

• A coconut shell activated carbon filter removes organic compounds, residual chlorine, pigments, and odors. This eliminates the “musty” smell often found in underground river water and reduces the risk of disinfection byproducts (e.g., trihalomethanes).

• The activated carbon has a high adsorption capacity and a long service life (6–12 months, depending on water quality), lowering replacement costs.


Third Stage: Resin Softening

• A cationic resin exchanger removes calcium and magnesium ions, which are the main causes of water hardness. Softening the water prevents scale buildup in pipes, faucets, and water heaters, extending the life of household or commercial plumbing.

• The resin can be regenerated with salt water when its softening capacity decreases, making it a cost-effective solution for long-term use.


Fourth Stage: RO Purification & Sterilization

• A precision filter (1μm) first catches fine colloids and particles, protecting the RO membrane. The RO membrane (imported from trusted brands) then removes over 97% of dissolved salts, bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals (e.g., lead, arsenic) that may be present in underground river water.

• Post-sterilization includes UV light and ozone treatment: UV kills most bacteria, while ozone provides a secondary barrier against microorganisms and extends the water’s freshness.

• All water-contact parts are made of SUS 304 or SUS 316 stainless steel. SUS 316 is used for the ozone mixing tower (resistant to ozone oxidation), ensuring the equipment is safe, durable, and compliant with food safety standards.

• Non-contact parts (e.g., control cabinet) are made of galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish, protecting against rust in humid factory or community environments.

• Automatic functions include backwashing, resin regeneration, and RO membrane flushing, reducing the need for skilled operators and minimizing human error.

• The system’s motor and pump are designed for high efficiency, consuming 20–30% less energy than similar products on the market. This is especially beneficial for 24/7 operation in communities or commercial facilities.

• Noise levels are below 65dB (equivalent to normal conversation), making the equipment suitable for installation near residential areas or offices.
