FAQ  


Q: Can this machine process citrus juices without causing bitterness?  

A: Yes. The low-temperature holding phase (85-95°C) avoids over-processing, which can activate bittering enzymes in citrus. The system's precise temperature control ensures optimal flavor retention.  

Q: What is the minimum juice viscosity the machine can handle?  

A: It effectively processes juices with viscosity as low as 0.2 cP (water-like) up to 20 cP (thick nectars). For higher viscosities, a booster pump or larger-diameter tubing can be customized.  

Q: Does the machine include a deaeration unit?  

A: Deaeration is optional but recommended for oxygen-sensitive products. We offer integrated vacuum deaerators that reduce dissolved oxygen levels to <0.5 ppm before pasteurization.  

Q: How is the system cleaned after processing pulpy juices?  

A: The automatic CIP system uses a high-flow alkaline wash (80°C, 1.5% NaOH) followed by an acid rinse (60°C, 1% HNO₃) to remove pulp residues. A turbidity sensor confirms cleanliness before production resumes.  

Q: Can it be used for hot-fill applications into PET bottles?
